The URSA Cine Immersive, first announced in summer 2024, is aimed at professional studios producing content such as films and series. Apple is expected to collaborate with studios to expand the library of spatial videos available for Vision Pro users.

Consumer Options:
For everyday users, spatial video recording is accessible through the iPhone or a Canon mirrorless camera equipped with the RF-S 7.8mm F4 STM DUAL lens. Pre-orders for this lens opened in November 2024, offering a more affordable entry point into spatial video creation.

With the launch of the URSA Cine Immersive, Blackmagic is setting a new standard for high-quality spatial video production. As Apple Vision Pro gains traction, this collaboration between hardware developers and content creators will likely drive the growth of immersive media experiences.
